Historical Clothing

With all my historical clothing I strive for accuracy in choice of materials, cut and construction (thus everything pre 1860 is hand sewn, and some things past that date as well), in how they are worn, as well as in hairstyles and accessories worn with them. This is indeed a process in which I’m continually learning more, thus the quality between old and new items may vary. Though I like history in general and would only need a little encouragement to jump into almost any period, time and money result in me concentrating on my favourite eras.

This page is a work in progress, as putting everything up takes some time.

14th Century
I've been doing late 14th century living history for some years now, and experimented with medieval clothes years before that. This period is one we usually do together as a family.

19th Century
The first half of the 19th century has always been close to my heart, and I’ve made the odd garment now and then since my teens, but it’s only recently – when 19th century living history has been growing here in Sweden - that I’ve started to do it more seriously.
