This afternoon I decided I would try. I don’t have the pattern for the turtles, so I browsed the internet to see if I could find something cute and simple as a first project. There are a lot of patterns for turtles, but I fell in love with the ones I saw at the baby shower, and will hope to get the pattern for those. I found this duckling instead, and it wasn’t as hard to make as I’d thought.
It’s not perfect, it has a few flaws here and there, but for a first time project I’m happy with it. The colours, though I like them, are perhaps not the most interesting, especially not for a baby, for witch this is intended, but it was all I had (or was willing to sacrifice on this trial run) in my stash.
This was perfect occupation for me this afternoon, as I’m having a severe cold again, and tiresome contractions. I believe there will be more amigurumi in my future.
Vilken liten söting! Jag vill också virka söta saker, måste bara bli färdig till det.ReplyDelete
The little ducky is adorable! (and the shoes, so pretty!)ReplyDelete
Ah! I just ordered some books on this! How fun! I have another Japanese crochet craft book and some sewing books. It's definitely addicting isn't it? :)ReplyDelete
med risk för att bli beroende av de små söta sakerna :) been there done that ;) vad fin den blev!ReplyDelete
hey Sarah! I just want to know one thing: when you did that Gryffindor scarf to your little sister, how did you make the stripes look equal on both sides without that "line" of the old color showing up? Thank you, your blog is really nice! Sorry for any mistake i did in my comment, i don't know how to write english so well.ReplyDelete
Oh my ! It is soooo cute (:ReplyDelete
